PJ Geissinger combines his love of classical music with modern bass music to deliver a distinct, panoramic sound that stands out from the current wealth of electronic music producers. His dramatic compositional skills, complimented by grade 8 piano and a day job lecturing in musical theory and production at the University of Philadelphia, make Starkey not only a formidable force in the underground scene, but also earmark him as a potential super producer of the future.

Starkey is yet another example of what the streets of Philadelphia can create; his sound hits hard and is littered with subsonic bass and colourful audio frequencies. Grime, dubstep, hip-hop, ambient and more are all blended into his own ‘street bass’ genre, with a frightening attention to detail and hard lean towards a space age aesthetic.
